Introduction

Welcome to my new website, thank you for coming and I hope you enjoy looking around.

This site contains many new paintings, never exhibited before, as well as a general survey of some of the paintings I have done over the years. It is by no means exhaustive, but will give you an idea about the painting styles I have been involved in up until now.

You will see a range of topics, from urban landscape to nudes to portraits. I have tried to make it so that the most recent paintings from each topic are shown first.

Biographical notes

I Studied painting full time from the age of 17, in London up until completion of fine art degree at the age of 22, in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I then Taught painting for 5 years at community level to children of all ages and abilities as well as adult life drawing classes. Following that I worked as a Regional business development executive for the North East Creative Industries prior to setting up a commercial art gallery in Leeds, 2004-2006.

Currently I continue to paint from my studio in Leeds, exhibiting in various art galleries, including Gascoignes art gallery in Harrogate.

I hope you enjoy perusing the site. Please let me know what you think. Many of the paintings are available for sale and may be purchased online through our secure payment facilities.
